Spicy vegetarian pizza
This original pizza recipe is delicious and easy to make. With just 4 ingredients, you can put this spicy vegetarian pizza on the table in no time.
If you find it hard to cook vegetarian, this recipe is a real winner. Thanks to the spicy flavour of the cheese and a sweet touch from the honey, you don't miss the meat. On the contrary... it tastes like more!
I have used a sourdough dough in this recipe. But you can of course make a classic pizza dough or buy a ready-made one.
- 1 pizza dough
- 3 large onions
- 1 knob of butter
- 150g ground cheese (here I used gruyere but other cheeses can also be used)
- "2 tablespoons maquish honey"
- "1 teaspoon wild thyme" or "Provencal herbs"
Preparation of spicy vegetarian pizza:
Peel and thinly slice the onions.
Melt the butter in a pan and add the onions.
Fry the onions over low heat until they turn brown.
Add the honey and let the onions caramelise.
Roll out the pizza dough.
Spread the cheese over the pizza crust.
Put the onions on top of the cheese.
Preheat the oven to 180° and bake the pizza in the oven for 30 minutes.
This pizza is delicious with a fresh crispy salad. And for those who want a nice glass of wine!!!
