Large green olives Lucques-AOP 200g from the Languedoc region is the French olive variety par excellence. The olives have a fresh green colour and are shaped like a half moon. The flesh is crunchy and it has a mild, rich flavour without bitterness.
The flesh separates easily from the pointed stone. This makes these large olives perfect for making your own stuffed olives.
The olives are guaranteed to come from the Herault and l'Aude regions. They grow in relatively small orchards (300/400 olive trees per ha). The maintenance of the trees is done with respect for nature. The olives are picked by hand at the end of September/beginning of October.
The L'Oulibo cooperative: This cooperative is a solidary and honest enterprise. It enables producers in the region to make a living from their activity and to see their work and know-how valued. The Oulibo olive growers all share the same passion: love for their terroir, carefully preserved traditions and a know-how that has been passed on from generation to generation. With almost 1000 members, the cooperative receives olives from three departments: Aude, Hérault and Pyrénées-Orientales. It therefore certifies 100% regional products. They undertake to apply a very precise quality charter.
