What is buplereum?

Bupleurum is a rare medicinal plant belonging to the umbellifer family. This plant grows mainly in sunny, chalky soils and is valued for its medicinal properties in traditional medicine. The flower attracts bees that collect nectar to produce this unique honey.

Versatile uses of bupleurum honey

• As a natural sweetener in your tea, coffee or smoothies
• Perfect on your sandwich, rusk or cracker
• Delicious in dressings and marinades for a hint of sweetness
• As a healthy topping on your yoghurt, cottage cheese or oatmeal
• In baking recipes for a subtle honey flavour

Sustainable and local

By choosing our sunflower honey, you not only support local beekeepers, but also contribute to preserving biodiversity and protecting our precious pollinators.

Why order this pure honey?

Because there is too much tampering with honey. René, notre apiculteur, produit son miel de manière artisanale et honnête. And is guaranteed to do not to the following practices:

• Some honey producers take too much honey away from the bees and then feed them sugar dough. This weakens the bees, increases bee mortality and reduces honey quality.
• honey is topped up with sugar water, making people think they are buying a liquid honey.
• Each honey has its specific properties. But cheap honey is made up of different types of honey. So it is not pure, natural honey straight from the beekeeper’s hive, as it is with our honey.
