The OXXiTAN les remparts French gin (44) organic is a tribute to the nature and culture of Occitania. The herbs used are all from the region: juniper, thyme, strawflower, rosemary and more.

Each maceration is carefully carried out to best preserve the aromas and properties of the plants. The distillation creates a gin with a fine and exceptional aromatic complexity.

Features:

• Mouthfeel: Exceptionally aromatic bouquet of the 11 spices, with notes of honey and pear, and a slight hint of genepi (=alsam plant).
• Nose: Expressive, amazing in its complexity, characterised by floral and mineral notes.
• Colour: crystal clear
• Tex steer: Round and soft, a perfect balance that provides nice length with a hint of cinnamon on the finish.
• Alcohol: 40%
• Content: 50cl
• Certified organic

The story behind OXXiTAN Les remparts French gin (44):

It was in the small village of Albas, with 78 inhabitants, nestled between vineyards and garrigues, that the idea of this gin was born. François, a native of the Belgian Ardennes settled in the Corbières more than 15 years ago after discovering this 'terroir' while grape-picking.

Together with local shepherdess Camille, François goes in search of the best herbs, for their taste and smell.

The result far exceeded expectations: alchemy worked between the 11 Mediterranean herbs and organic wheat alcohol. The result is a sublime organic French gin.

Ingredients:

Angelica, immortelle, thyme, chamomile, lemongrass, rosemary, cinnamon, coriander, heather, lemon verbena and, of course, juniper berries.

Serving tip:

Add 4 cl OXXiTAN Les remparts gin to a glass with ice cubes and mix with 8 cl neutral tonic.

Decorate with a slice of lemon or orange and, as a finishing touch, add a sprig of rosemary or a few balls of pink pepper.
