Kaki and 4-spice jam organic 230g or kaki jam with 4 spices organic is an original combination of the classic kaki jam with some extra spicy herbs. Very tasty and healthy.
The persimmon fruit is grown and harvested manually in autumn on Carina and Gaëtan's family farm. Afterwards, the jam is made in the traditional way on the farm.
The kaki is an orange fruit with sweet, juicy flesh and a somewhat firm skin. Its taste is sometimes compared to that of an apricot. The persimmon tree originally comes from China. But it also thrives in the south of France. The fruit is praised for its health benefits and healing powers. Kaki fruit is full of vitamins A, B6, C and E.
This jam is delicious on a croissant or a slice of farmhouse bread. But try it also in a yoghurt, with a scoop of ice cream or with a cheese dish.
