This focaccia with sage is easy to make with very few ingredients. You can serve it with a tomato-based dipping sauce. Or simply with a crispy salad!

Preparation focaccia with sage:

Dissolve the yeast in a glass with a little lukewarm water and a teaspoon of sugar. Put the flour on the work surface and make a well. Add yeast and start kneading.

Add the salt, olive oil and, little by little, the rest of the water. Knead the dough for at least 10 minutes, until smooth and even. Moisten your hands, form into a ball and let it rise, covered, in a warm place for 2 hours.

When the dough has risen, press it flat with your hands on a baking tray. Then make small "holes" in it with your fingers and pour in a little olive oil. Then add fleur de sel and sage leaves, which you press lightly into the dough.

Cover your focaccia and let it rest for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake the focaccia for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
