Chicory tart with tomatoes and maqui honey
For 4 persons:
Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 40 min
- 1 onion
- 500g chicory
- 400g tomatoes in pieces
- 1 pizza dough or 1 shortcrust pastry
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons maquis honey
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon Provencal herbs
Cut the vegetables into cubes.
Fry the onion in a pan with the olive oil and add the vegetables. Fry gently for 15 min.
Add salt, pepper and spices.
Add the honey to caramelise the vegetables.
Place the dough in a form and cover with vegetables.
Bake for 20 min. in the oven at 180°.
Serve chicory pie with tomatoes and maqui honey with a crisp salad.
